First International Congress of Yoga and Ayurveda in Brazil

More and more, people look for answers for their needs, in knowledge of millenarian civilizations. Brazil is not an exception as for this world trend. The receptivity of the Brazilians to Yoga and Ayurveda is a reality: there are traditionally thousands of practitioners in the whole vast territory of this multicultural country and that is open to new influences.
The First International Congress of Yoga and Ayurveda will take place together with the already known and intense Yoga Pela Paz (Yoga For Peace), www.yogapelapaz.org annual event that gathered almost 20 thousand people in each one of their its two editions, in practices, lectures, songs and dances.
The Congress will bring to the country the main names of Yoga and Ayurveda all over the world, to speak to a multicultural audience and that is avid for knowledge.
We are inviting all to take part in the Congress that will take place from August 11 to 17, 2008, in São Paulo, Brazil.

CONGRESS-FESTIVAL, DELHI, INDIA

During their last journey in India, Amadio Bianchi (Swami Suryananda Saraswati), President of the World Movement for Yoga, Emy Blesio (Yogacarini Pandit Gayatri Devi), President of the World Community of Indian Culture and Traditional Disciplines, Vijay Tiwari (National Organizer of Indian Government, Ministry of Panchayati Raj), Secretary-general of Indian Yoga Confederation, established an International cooperation agreement.

The agreement soon gave its first results, in fact, the dates of 22nd-23rd-24th-25th of May 2008 have been proposed to organize a big International Congress of Yoga, Ayurveda, Indian Music, Dance and singing in New Delhi.

At the same time, a big Indian travel agency has been commissioned to organize, for the occasion, stay-trips for the Congress, suitable to everybody (many foreigners are expected), with the opportunity to add other 6 days of interesting route for guiding participants in visiting India to better understand its deep culture.

In the pictures, the thrilling moment in which the three international representatives met His Holiness Sri Vijayendra Saraswati, Shankaracharya of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Pitham of Kancheepuram, who, besides expressing his personal appreciation for this initiative, promised to take into account a participation of himself to the Congress.

As soon as possible we’ll publish the names of all personalities who will give their support.

Please, all national and international organizations managers, be ready and available to offer your contribution for the success of this Congress-Event and to communicate as soon as possible your participation and give us the participants-list in time.
